Turion X2 Ultra Makes Official Debut

Amid the massive increase in mobile computing AMD has officially introduced their Turion X2 Ultra on Wenesday. This next gen platform for notebook computing offers heavy increases in high-def graphics while improving power consumption by up to 1 1/2 hours.

The improved image graphics have 5 times the image quality and offer 40% faster transfer of wireless HD content. The AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual-Core has Independent Dynamic Core Technology along with a new mobile-optimized memory controller, power-optimized and HyperTransport 3.0 which has up to 3 times the data transfer rate of the original HyperTransport.
